Brain Boosting Toddler Toys - Parents Reviews
1 # My First Telescope
Parents Reviews:
- Purchased this for my 4-year-old who is currently obsessed with space. She loves this!! I love that it has a double eyepiece since little kids haven’t mastered keeping one eye open.
- Pros: gets my child interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). It is a child’s toy and a great way to spark interest in using a telescope, but it is only about 10x magnification. I think the age range of 4-6 years is appropriate as children older than 6 would not be as impressed in it.
2 # Toddlers and Kids Binoculars
Parents Reviews:
- Allow the child in your life to take an up-close look at the world with these binoculars.
- Not only will the child have lots of fun with his or her new children’s gifts, but you’ll feel great giving and educational gift.
3 # Science Deluxe Lab Set
- This is very well made very realistic lab set My 3 1/2-year-old loves doing science experiments. It is a great indoor toy for these cold winter days. He also absolutely loves using the beakers and tubing etc in the bath! It makes a great bath toy too! I plan on giving these as gifts to others as he likes it so much as well as learning!
- These are a great hit for the 4-year-old scene. I purchased one for my daughter and had such good feedback from playdates that I purchased 4 more to give as birthday gifts. I agree that it would be helpful to have more follow up info included to expand the learning opportunities.
4 # Learning Color Matching Pegboard Creative Educational Toys
Age Group: For 1, 2, 3 Years Old
Parents Reviews:
- My 2-year-old son loves this. Besides filling in the included puzzles, he likes to fill the board with all the buttons in a rainbow pattern. We even made up a game where I give him a hint about a color like “what color are bananas?” And he removes the correct color from the board.
- We bought this toy as a Christmas gift for our two-year-old. Although we had a little trouble getting the plastic screen to stand up vertically, our daughter didn’t seem to mind at all. She enjoyed plugging the colorful pegs into the board as it lay on the ground in front of her. I anticipate that she will enjoy playing with this toy again and again.
Parents Reviews:
- Our 2.5 year old really enjoys playing with this activity cube. It’s very durable teaches color and shape correlation and develops fine motor skills.
- Got this for my 2 years old’s birthday & he LOVES it! His favorite thing is shapes right now and loves watching shape YouTube vids & playing with shapes toys. This is a great toy because it has different activities!
6 # LEGO DUPLO Cargo Train 10875 Battery-Operated
(Best Engineering and STEM Toy for Toddlers)
Parents Reviews:
I picked this up for my three years old. He loves it. I love the new technology that Lego has integrated into the train engine. The system uses color-coded tiles that the train can drive over, recognize, and respond to. The tiles include sound, stopping, changing directions, pausing for a period, and lights.
7 # Interlocking Plastic Disc Set ( Educational Building Blocks)
Parents Reviews:
- I bought these as a Christmas gift but today was the first time I had been home to see if the child played with them.
Three kids, ages about ten, six, and four, all building stuff from the same jar of pieces. Most amazing, there were enough pieces to build all this and keep building! - Most importantly, they played quietly, encouraged one another, helped each other. No fussing, no fighting. I am back to order more!
- These are about the coolest and most original things I have ever purchased for the kids. The adults love them just as much!
- A great price and you get 500 which was plenty to build this Ferris Wheel and had a lot let over!
I recommend this product, you won’t be disappointed! I love the catchy name too!!
8 # Jr. Wonder Lab Toy with Experiments for Kids
Parents Reviews:
- When I saw this, I had to get it for my 4-year-old grandson who is very inquisitive. Well, he just loves his new lab. It was easy to assemble and he has spent hours experimenting with non-toxic, harmless items from the kitchen. It is a wonderful, fun way to learn and especially at this age, he is a little sponge on picking up useful information and following the directions. Yes, I would highly recommend this great, fun learning toy.
- My grandsons loved it! It’s easy to use.
9 # Color Matching Egg Set
Parents Reviews:
This is my daughter’s favorite toy from Christmas. It was a great tool for teaching her different colors. The toy is sturdy, and I expect it to last. At 17 months old, our child could open the eggs (aside from 2 – see notes below), and now at 19 months old, can put most of them back together (the higher numbers are easier to put back together).
10 # Sensory Toys Connecting Manipulatives
Parents Reviews:
My kids love these, and I have to admit, I may have spent an hour building a giant spaceship with my kids! Simple design/high creativity toys like these are the best. My four-year-old loves them, and my toddler loved sorting them. Great toy!
11 # Fisher-Price Little People Take Turns Skyway
Parents Reviews:
- It does take time to build but at the end is all worth it my son he loves it so much he plays with it every day
- such a great size for toddlers! My toddler has been playing with it since we put it together. he loves all the different tracks and all the noises and sounds of a race track it comes with.
- This is a great toy. Made well, stimulates thinking and imagination. A fine choice for a toddler to grow with.
12 # Grow-to-Pro 2-in-1 Tee Ball
Parents Reviews:
This is so easy to set up, the adjustment for the height is easy to change, there’s a storage slot for the ball and bat, it’s lightweight yet seems sturdy enough at this stage, and best of all, my 2 1/2-year-old daughter loves it! This has already provided us with some good entertainment! Appears to be a good price too because I didn’t find it any leas less expensive used. Definitely happy with this purchase! Brain-Boosting Toddler Toys
13 # Think & Learn Smart Cycle
Seriously, this is the BEST!! I wish I could give it more stars. For the parents: easy-assembly, sturdy and well-constructed, and worth EVERY PENNY!! Yes, of course, we want our kids to enjoy the outdoors but not many of us live in areas where the weather is warm and sunny year-round. Bring on the rain, bring on the snow and ice, bring on the night-time! Screen time is going to happen, especially for learning. T
14 # ABC Sound Book for Toddlers
- I love this book and seems like my oldest 3-year- old boy loves it too. It keeps him busy for hours. So here my detailed opinion:
Pros:
> It is very bright, well-made book with lots of different activities. It says your a letter, that the word and then spelling of this word. It is also included quiz mode, that my son loves. I found it very interactive.
> It has lots of learning material: Alphabet, numbers, animals, shapes, fruit, vegetables, vehicles.
> Volume is controlled. I found it very useful for early mornings to use in public places.
> It is turning off by itself after you do not use it for 3-5 min.
> Battery part is secure and little hands cannot open it.
