Is My Back Pain is due to Epidural or Not (Post Delivery)?

Friends, I will recommend you to opt for Epidural Anesthesia during your delivery, don’t be scared, it’s best for you to get pain relief in Normal delivery & C-Section.

Oh, God! It’s paining like a hell in my lower back. I had opted for Epidural Anesthesia during my labor to get relief from pain. I have taken the Antenatal Classes/Workshops of Labour & Delivery, in which they have explained to us the benefits of taking Epidural Anesthesia. In my case it works Epidural really works.

When I started feeding my baby after 3 to 4 days from my delivery I felt a sudden pain in my lower back. I wasn’t able to stand and sit properly in that situation. It was so painful that I can’t explain and wanted to scream but after a few seconds, it was normal.

I started feeling the same pain twice or thrice a day but it comes and goes off. First I thought it may be a side effect of Epidural injection but then I read somewhere that almost 60-70 % of women suffer from lower back pain in the first few months after having a baby.

My pain was not because of Epidural, may be due to increased hormones in women’s body after delivery, maybe coz of my weight or any other physical condition.

I don’t understand how much change women’s body feel after having a baby. Now I understand why earlier people used to say that a woman gets another life after giving birth “Rebirth of Women”.

It took almost 2 months to get rid of that pain. Walking and little bit exercise has given me relief from lower back pain.
