The First Trimester of Pregnancy Duration is from Week 1 to Week 12. There are 40 weeks (or 280 days) in a pregnancy. The doctor will calculate your due date from the first day of your last period. This is a general practice everywhere.

At week 9, your baby is now about 1 inch long, the size of a medium green olive. His tiny muscles are starting to form. Some mothers feel the first kick of the baby.

The head has straightened out and is more fully developed.  And all of the baby’s essential organs, like the heart, brain, kidneys, liver, and lungs, have begun to develop.

You will start feeling very tired, and your weight will increase. Now, you will find it hard to fit in your old clothes.

Week 10

Congratulations, you’re now 3 months pregnant. your baby’s head has become more round. Now he has an elbow, Toes, and fingers, that become longer. The eyelids and external ears continue to develop. The umbilical cord is clearly visible.
