Pregnancy Complications, Signs & Symptoms which you Should Never Ignore – During Pregnancy women sometimes not understand and get confused between what is Good or Bad Signs in Pregnancy.

Pregnancy is a beautiful experience that every woman goes through, but do you know that there are some Pregnancy Complications & Symptoms that show that the baby is unwell or not going well. If you notice any below signs, please call your doctor and discuss immediately.

(Which You Should Never Ignore)

1 # Bleeding

First Trimester: If you notice or you are going through any of these symptoms like heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, and menstrual-like cramps then it could be a sign of an Ectopic Pregnancy – Pregnancy in which the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus.

For any unusual bleeding, visit your doctor or discuss over the phone call. Nothing to worry, but you need to get it treated in the early stages. Please note that in the early three months of pregnancy are always crucial.

Second Trimester:  In this trimester you and your baby are in safe mode. But in case suddenly you notice heavy bleeding with cramping, immediately call your doctor, it could be a sign of miscarriage.

Third Trimester: Bleeding in the third trimester can be due to lots of reasons like Placental Abruption. In which baby oxygen and nutrients will start to decrease and your baby must be in distress. Time to call your doctor…

2 # Postpartum Depression

One of the most dangerous problems during Pregnancy is Postpartum Depression. Be aware of this problem, many women go through postpartum depression during and after pregnancy, it can treat, but only by Self Awareness and Self Control.

Sometimes in Postpartum Depression, women get the thought of harming one’s self and the Baby. And if you don’t take precautions on time it can affect your whole life later.

Call your doctor it can be controlled by self-control power and medications.

3 # Contractions in the Third Trimester

Many women feel a contraction in the third trimester and cannot differentiate between labor pain or a false alarm. If you feel a contraction on regular intervals like every 10 minutes, then it can be Labor Pain.

Don’t get confused between real labor pain & false alarm. Actually, what you are feeling is Braxton-Hicks contractions, it feels like mild menstrual cramps or tightening in the abdomen that comes and goes.

After 37 or 38 weeks, if you feel regular contractions for an hour, call your doctor or go to the hospital as soon as possible.

4 # Reduced Fetal/Baby Movements

Always keep tracking your baby movements like kicks, bubbles & popping from the Second trimester. Some women feel the baby movements only in the third trimester.

In case you have not felt your baby movements till starting of the third trimester, please discuss this with your Ultrasound Doctor & Gynecologist. Please don’t ignore it and think that your baby is lazybones.

If you notice that your baby’s movements are declining or getting less, especially in Third Trimester please call the doctor and visit him for a checkup. Maybe Baby is not doing well.

5 # Urinary Tract Infection

UTI has no symptoms, but if you feel pain or burning sensation, burning sensation during urination, you are likely to have a urinary tract infection. Get yourself treated otherwise it will increase the risk of kidney infection and is associated with preterm labor and low birth weight.

6 # Swollen Feet in Third Trimester

If you notice swollen feet with itching and that continues for more than 1 week, maybe it is a sign that something is wrong with Baby. Generally, Swollen feet are normal in pregnancy, but some signs are not good and you should not ignore it. It’s better to visit your doctor and discuss. Buy the pregnancy products which will help you to overcome this problem.

7 # High Blood Pressure

We never thought that High Blood Pressure during pregnancy can be dangerous. Do you know that it can lead to serious, even fatal, complications for both mother and baby? Therefore call your doctor how to control your BP and have a safe pregnancy.

High Blood Pressure can be a sign of Preeclampsia. Preeclampsia affects the blood flow to the placenta, often leading to smaller or prematurely born babies. Some symptoms are Swelling, Headache, Abdominal Pain & Visual Disturbances.

8 # High-Risk Pregnancy due to Hypertension:

High-risk pregnancies need expert advice and care at every stage of pregnancy. Please notice that if you had hypertension before becoming pregnant, then your pregnancy automatically comes under high-risk pregnancy.

9 # Leaking of Amniotic Fluid

During pregnancy, leaking occurs due to the pressure of the growing uterus on the bladder. It can be a sign of danger if it continues to leak. It can indicate some serious issues like the problem with baby’s organ development, miscarriage, stillbirth, infections, and signs of early labor. If your water breaks or you notice a clear liquid that keeps leaking continuously, rush to the hospital.
